Are you Sick with CPAP?
A backup to your CPAP is critical, here’s why…
Sleep Apnea never takes the night off, and neither should your treatment. Many of our patients use oral appliance therapy as a supplement to their CPAP when using their CPAP is just not an option, such as traveling, camping, or when feeling ill. Anyone whose used a CPAP machine long term can tell you that it's no fun to use when your sick, but it's even less fun to go without any kind of treatment.

Enter Oral Appliance Therapy
Oral appliance therapy is a simple solution to obstructive sleep apnea both in its functionality and it ease of use. An oral appliance works by bringing the lower jaw into a forward position, opening the airway and allowing the user to breathe on their own similar to "head tilt, chin lift" taught in CPR courses.
These devices are custom made and fit by dentists who have extensive training and experience in the treatment of sleep apnea. They are comparable to a retainer or mouth guard in size, but are far more elegant and last for years. They're compact, comfortable, and functional.
Oral appliance therapy, which prevents the circumstances that cause airway obstruction by pushing the tongue or jaw forward and keeping the soft tissues at the back of the throat out of the area of the airway, is often effective in treating sleep apnea full time, and not just as a supplement to CPAP therapy.
